DVM
Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Shreves is an owner and sole veterinarian at Pottsgrove Animal Hospital. He has been practicing for over 27 years! Dr. Shreves and his sister, office manager Deb Shreves, opened Pottsgrove Animal Hospital in 2003 in Pottstown, PA.
He enjoys helping small pets, whether it be keeping them healthy via preventative medicine, or providing safe, high-quality medical and surgical procedures.
A graduate of Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Shreves is a proud alumnus and die-hard fan - GO SPARTANS!
In addition to loving other people's pets, Dr. Shreves has his own grumble of pugs: Willow, an 8-year-old brindle female, Mavis, a 7-year-old fawn female, Tulip, a 5-year-old brindle female and Gypsy Esmerelda, 2-year-old fawn female. He also has three sweet cats: Percival, a 15-year-old male, Katrina, an 8.5-year-old female, and Ichabod, an 8.5-year-old female.
In his spare time, Dr. Shreves enjoys playing video games, watching Disney and/or horror movies, and collecting memorabilia and autographs from various conventions.

Deb is not only an owner of Pottsgrove Animal Hospital she is also Dr. Shreves's sister! She and Dr. Shreves opened Pottsgrove Animal Hospital in 2003 and have been proudly serving the Pottstown, PA area for over 20 years.
Deb has been an integral part of running this business and ensuring that each client and pet receives the best service possible. She has established many positive, life-long relationships and friendships with Pottstown clients and their families. Her mission is to help facilitate the highest quality of care for all pets.
In addition to being an owner, Deb is also the office manager, happy to help the hospital run smoothly and efficiently. Prior to working in a veterinary practice, Deb worked with mentally and physically disabled adults for over 30 years and in that time received several certifications in behavioral medicine.
Not only does Deb care for the pets at the hospital, she also owns two dogs and two cats: Daulton, a 5-year-old chocolate cocker spaniel, Donovan, a 4-year-old black cocker spaniel, Darby, a 1-year-old domestic short-hair cat, and Hope, a 10-year-old domestic short hair cat.
In her spare time, Deb enjoys finding treasures at various thrift stores, flea markets, yard sales, etc. When at home, she loves watching wrestling, soap operas, and catching every Philadelphia Eagles game as she is a die-hard fan!

Vet Assistant
Jordan is our vet assistant. He loves learning about animals each day in his position and helping them live long, full lives.
He has a variety of pets: Hustle, a Yorkiepoo, King, a Yorkie, Popcorn, a corn snake, Speedy, a leopard gecko and Mary, another leopard gecko.

Kennel Attendant
Dillon fully enjoys working with the pets in the boarding facility. He makes sure all guests are taken care of and loved during their stay with us.
In addition to loving his job, Dillon loves his dog named Sniqures. When not at the kennel, he likes to play video games, enjoy the outdoors and hang with his family.

Veterinary Technicians

Veterinary Technician
Diane loves everything about veterinary medicine, especially helping animals! She enjoys meeting with clients and helping them and their pets. Her favorite part is working with clients and helping educate them on their new puppies or kittens.
In her spare time, Diane enjoys continuing education, reading, and cuddling her Jack Russell terrier, Patches.

Lead Surgical and Dental Technician
Tara loves leading the charge for the support team during surgical and dental procedures. She is knowledgeable and a natural leader! She enjoys working with different animals every day and feels as though every day is a new adventure.
Tara has one cat named Sassy.
